​You already know my name is Courtney. I am 24 years old and I live at home in the UK. I have four family dogs and parents I adore. I Iove music and I am a romantic at heart. I like to think that I look for the good in every moment and bring that ray of sunshine to make people happy. 

 

I have been an avid reader since I was a girl. Which surprised my parents since neither of them read or enjoyed books at all. When my siblings were going out and riding bikes or shopping, I could be found hiding underneath my bed covers with a book in hand. As a teenager I was gifted my first ever e-reader, I've had a few more now but in that year I read over seventy books! And I just knew I was meant to be a reader.

 

 She Reads Books began as an Instagram account @shereadsbooks.sometimes in 2020, where I shared my joy of reading with the world with the hope of bringing new books and amazing fiction to the people who followed the account. Years later my following has grown into a little family of book lovers and eventually, I wanted a small piece of the internet where I could talk about books nonstop and share my reviews.

When I first created She Reads Books I had no idea what to do. I'd never owned a website or didn't have a clue how to work it. Thankfully, I've picked it up along the way and now this page is my haven.

This blog is dedicated to all of the book lovers out there.  For the children just getting into fiction and for the lifelong bookers in their adulthood. Keep reading!
